Ron was such a wonderful pleasure to have at our wedding. He was so easy to communicate with during the planning process... he always responded promptly to emails.  When the big day came, he was so careful to stay in the background and take candid photos.  Ron was more than willing to do any ideas we came up with on the spot, and made perfect suggestions. He was never pushy or frustrating.  His ideas were beautiful and easy to do.  The best part was seeing over 1000 pictures he took, which were ALL beautiful and cleverly taken.  He posted them very quickly and even notified us when he did.  I would absolutely book him again for a big event and I couldn't imagine a wedding photographer being any better.  Thanks Ron!!!

I chose Ron to be our wedding photographer on my own when my husband was deployed. It was a big decision for a bride-to-be to make on her own. When Ron showed me a sample of his Coffee Table Books and portfolio, I knew he would be the right person to photograph our special day. He was extremely professional, prompt, and reliable. The day went by so fast, but Ron kept us on track with all of the photographs we had planned out. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the story told through our wedding photos!   I would be happy to recommend Ron Ranew to all couples looking for a great photographer who is passionate about his craft as an artist.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed having Ron photograph our wedding!  His extreme kindness and patience - even with a demanding bride like myself - truly sold us on his professionalism.  We knew he would deliver for us and he did!  The creativity and uniqueness of his work is timeless.  As result, you're left with a priceless memory displayed in the form of a story.  We are so excited about our photobooks! Cody and I first met Ron at his home.  When we saw all of his work we knew right away that he was a serious photographer and that we wanted him to be our photographer.  Ron's attitude was very professional and personable.  On our wedding day, Ron was exceptional.  He was capturing every single moment of our day and you could tell he was so passionate about what he was doing.  All of our pictures came out beautiful and we are so pleased to have had Ron as our photographer.

Ron was awesome and we love our photos!   He was very accommodating for our engagement photos and wedding day.   Both of our families said how nice both he and his assistant were.  He is efficient yet invisible and unobtrusive.  Ron Ranew's photography definitely makes wedding pictures one less thing to worry about.

I cannot recommend a photographer more than I can my own, Ron Ranew.  From the beginning my husband and I loved Ron.  We liked that he genuinely LOVED photography, weddings & people (because that is important).  Immediately we booked Ron because we knew someone else would snatch him up for our day!  Ron listened to all of my wishes, and also read my wedding blog and knew all of the DIY & detail projects I'd put into the wedding! I thought that was above & beyond the regular photographer.  Ron showed up to our rehearsal to capture a few photographs-even though he wasn't paid to do so-AND he got all of our pictures to us within a week of the wedding! The day of the wedding was a whirlwind but I remember Ron showing up EARLY and falling right into place. He captured every detail and was precise in his work.  The quality of his craftsmanship is unheard of and, honestly, I wish I could get married again JUST for the experience of being photographed by Ron again. Ron is not only affordable, he has a photojournalistic/creative eye and listens to his couples!  Ron was by far one of my TOP and FAVORITE vendors!!!

Ron was awesome, he was very enthusiastic and easy to work with. He did a great job getting shots of everything. We live in South Carolina and got married in Tallahassee as a destination wedding. This made planning things difficult. Ron was easy to work with from a distance as well.  He also recommended that we had hair and make up artists come to us the day of.  An awesome suggestion that made the day much less stressful.  His pictures are awesome to the point that I can't decide which ones to have made into prints to display because I have so many favorites.  Thanks again!

My sister and I both had Ron take our wedding pictures and we both were really impressed with his work. He is very professional and does a great job at capturing the moment. Ron was absolutely top notch on our wedding day!  His all inclusive packages are great because he is with you all day to capture all of the special moments leading up to your big day and then thoughout the entire night!  It is so refreshing to work with someone like Ron because he is so passionate about what he does.  He really has an eye for photography and the quality of his work is truly incredible.  I will always look back on our wedding pictures and feel thankful for investing in such a wonderful photographer!  The value of the services Ron provides far exceed the cost.  I will gladly recommended Ron to all of my friends and family in the future.

We were so happy with our pictures!   From little details of placing the rings on the wood post with the view of the ceremony site in the background to the I do and the departure, every picture was amazing!   Our perfect day was captured in the happiness of everyone's face he photographed. I have just finished looking at my proofs online and I am so impressed! He took so many pictures of the day and he did them all without being intrusive. I look at a lot of the pictures and wonder how he got such a perfect shot of that exact moment. Ron did a fantastic job capturing our wedding day and I cannot wait to see the finished coffee table photo book that we ordered from him! Everyone who I have shown the pictures to thinks his work was absolutely fantastic! His prices are great if you are working with a budget and the best part of using him (besides his awesome work) is that you get all your proofs on a CD.

It was a perfect day made only more perfect by Ron's photography skills. He was a wonderful part of the day in the way he went about taking photographs at the rehearsal and all the day of the wedding.  You can almost hear the laughter and the happiness of the day in his pictures from beginning to end.

He was more than a pleasure to work with. He made everyone comfortable around him as he set about his work without distracting you from what you were up to.  Everyone is in awe of the pictures. I can hardly wait for the coffee table books!  It was the best investment we made for a wonderful outcome of our daughters wedding.

Thirty-six years ago, my husband and I had the worst of the worst photographers for our wedding.  I would say that life has made up for that by giving us one of the very best for our daughter Jessica's wedding day.

When the big day has come and gone you will be left with your memories and if you are like me, your photos. I love to go back and view my wedding photos every chance I get. I got married in October of '08.  I currently live in South Florida, but got married in Tallahassee, so I had to find a photographer and hire him from a distance.  Ron made me feel completely comfortable and assured me that everything would be perfect on my big day. On the day of the wedding, Ron was incredible!  He was there for over 8 hours, he got so many wonderful shots, and had a great time along with us! I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Ranew. On the day of the wedding, the weather was awful, but Mr. Ranew not only arrived in advance, he used the circumstances as an opportunity to record some images that really captured the day's challenges.  We had a very traditional religious service, and it was important that the photographer not disrupt the reverental nature. Mr. Ranew took the time to familiarize himself with the church in advance, and during the service, was able to move about discreetly, capturing the entire ceremony while being almost invisible.

We couldn't be happier with the final product, either - our biggest challenge was determining how to whittle down the 100's of outstanding photos for our album. His experience and artistic sense really came through - we received many requests for copies and prints of his photos, and because we own them, it was easy to email the digital image to our friends and family.  In short, I can't imagine a better photographer for the most important day of my life.

Artistic, patient and fast -- that's how I would describe Ron's services. His artistry shows through-out his prints and books through imaginative, beautiful photos.
